TERMS
When you
book a trip the following terms and conditions become a part
of your contract with H&C Patagonia.
HOW TO SIGN
UP
To reserve a space on any trip, please complete the Reservation
Form and return it to us along with a deposit of $400
per person.
Please note that no reservation can be confirmed without a deposit.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
At time of reservation: $400
Trip Balance is due 60 days prior to departure
All payments may be made by bank transfer .
Prices are in US Dollars and all payments are to be made in US Dollars.
Payment for air tickets (only domestic flights into Argentina) is due when tickets are issued, usually between 45 and 60 days prior to departure (subject to change, based on regulations of individual air carriers).
Immediately
after we receive your deposit you will receive a confirmation
letter, detailed package with a clothing and equipment list,
invoice, medical form, Release From Liability Agreement and
other information needed to prepare for your trip.
Upon receipt of both the Reservation form and deposit, a confirmation
letter, pre-trip departure packet, and invoice will be forwarded
to you.Due to the nature of international operations, prices
are subject to change.
WHAT YOUR TRIP INCLUDES
Trip prices include accommodations, all field arrangements
(including camp and cook staffs, tents, necessary trip equipment
such as sea kayaks, paddles,PFDs, etc) meals, sightseeing as
noted in the trip itinerary, airport transfers, ground transportation,
leadership, guides, ground support staff, group equipment, entry
fees only as noted in the Itinerary.
Please refer to the specific trip itinerary for information on inclusions and exclusions on land costs.
CANCELLATIONS
If you cancel your trip, H&C Patagonia. must be notified
in writing (fax or email)
At the time
we receive written notice that you must cancel your trip, the
following fees will apply
All dates are from the departure date
60 days &
more prior to departure $150
31-59 days prior to departure 50% of trip price
0-30 days prior to departure 100% of trip price
CANCELLED TRIPS
Due to the nature of operating in the wilderness and remote
areas, H&C Patagonia reserves the right to cancel any trip
prior to departure for any reason whatsoever, including inadequate
sign-up which makes the trip economically unfeasible for us
to operate or logistical problems which may impede trip operations,
but will inform you at least 45 days prior to departure.
In such a case, a full refund of the trip cost is given, but
H&C Patagonia is not responsible for expenses incurred by
trip members in preparation for the trip (e.g., non-refundable
airline tickets, medical expenses, equipment etc.).
UNESPECTED
COSTS
The cost of delays is not included if any trip must be delayed
due to bad weather, trail conditions, road conditions, canceled
or delayed flights or delays of other modes of transportation,
sickness or other contingency for which H&C Patagonia or
its agents cannot make provision.
INSURANCE
While purchase of travel insurance is not mandatory to join
a trip, it is strongly suggested that you purchase it.
A variety of travel insurance plans covering trip cancellation,
trip interruption, accident, medical and baggage/personal effects
is available for purchase.
It is also advisable to check your current health insurance
policy for its overseas applications.
SINGLE TRAVELLERS
Accommodations (hotels and tents) are based on double occupancy.
If you are travelling alone and wish to share accommodations, we will try to assign a roommate of the same gender. If there is no one with whom you can share, or you prefer a single occupancy, you are requested to pay a Single Supplement Fee, which will be listed in the trip itinerary.
